Fix Printer Problems after Upgrade Windows 10

So if you get printer problems after upgrade windows 10 to the latest version of windows like can’t to print, maybe this a few things you can do to fix the printer problems.

First, make sure if your device is in an unspecified device state:

  1. Press Windows key + I  > Devices.
  2. Printers & scanners > Related settings > Print server properties.
  3. Scroll down the list of Devices to see if your printer name and icon appears in the Unspecified section.

OK, after you know whether or not your printer is in an unspecified state on your windows, Lets follow these steps to try and fix the printer problems.

1. Uninstall and Reinstall Printer

Remove your printer

  1. Press Windows key + I > Devices > Printers and Scanners.
  2. Under Printers & scanners, find the printer, select it, and then select Remove device.

Reinstall your printer

  1. Press Windows key + I > Devices > Printers and Scanners.
  2. Select Add a printer or scanner. Wait for it to find nearby printers, choose the one you want, and then select Add device.

2. Run Printer Troubleshooter

  1. Press Windows key + I > Update & Security.
  2. Click Troubleshoot > Printer > Run the troubleshooter.
  3. Wait to Detecting problems.
